Southern Son Photography was born from my own experience with the photographer at my wedding. I got married to my wonderful wife, McKenzie, in 2015. Our budget was tight, so we had to cut costs where we could. This included cheapening out on our photographer. We actually booked with a studio of multiple photographers, and the photographer they ended up sending wasn’t familiar with our wedding at all. Not only that, but when we got our pictures back, we just weren’t in love with them like we hoped to be. They didn't capture the essence of our day or the uniqueness of the people that shared it with us.
From that moment on, I was set on making sure no one else had the same experience that we did. I feel that all brides and grooms deserve a premium experience and quality wedding photos that can stand the test of time. I focus on creating photo-journalistic images that truly capture the essence of your wedding without disturbing the special moments of the day. I strive to go above and beyond for my clients, ensuring that their best moments are captured and preserved for a lifetime.
